Lucy has exceptional conformation and movement, and clearly loves the ring and asks for the win. Lucy was very successful as a puppy, regularly winning puppy awards at specialty shows. She first entered the adult ring in August 2010 in Greeley, Colorado, where she won a major at the Greeley Cluster, under respected Judge, Jeanette McGinnis.
Because of our move from California to Texas, Lucy was not shown again until the Dallas shows in December 2010. She was Winners' Bitch at both the Irish Setter Club of Dallas and the Irish Setter Club of Texas Specialties for two more majors in very tough competition. Thanks to Breeder Judges, Sue Griffiths and Sue Melancon who recognized and rewarded her conformation and fire!. In two show clusters, her point count was 11 and 3 majors! She was not shown again until the Forth Worth Cluster, in March 2011, where she garnered another major WB, under Judge Patricia Trotter, to finish, as well as select bitch for her first points and major toward her GRCH.
Lucy's inner fire is truly beautiful to see. We hope to finish her grand Championship before breeding her.
